Margaret was born in 1895 in Kapetanovo Polje, Croatia (then Hungary, part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire).[1]
Marriage
Margaretha married Johann Adam in 1911 at the age of fifteen, in Kapetanovo Polje.[2]
Immigration to U.S.
Margaretha emigrated to Wisconsin in 1912 with her husband. According to the Passenger Listing that records their voyage, they were on their way to see Margaretha's father, Johann Muth, in Milwaukee.[3]
Residence, Children
Within a few years Margaretha and Johann purchased rural property in Catawba, Price County, Illinois, where they had ten children, two of whom died very young.[4][5][6]
Margaretha died in 1949,[7] and is buried next to her husband Johann in Kennan Cemetery, Price County, Wisconsin.[8]
