"Mrs. Vermenia Rebecca Baker, aged 34, wife of Daniel B. Baker, 41 Clayton Avenue, died at 10:20 last night at the Waynesboro Hospital. She was taken ill on Thursday and was admitted to the hospital on Saturday evening.

"She was born at Waynesboro R.R. 1, the daughter of Grant and May (Robinson) Muth and has lived in Waynesboro since her marriage 11 years ago. She was a graduate of Washington Township High School.

"Mrs. Baker was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Fidelis Bible Class, and assistant secretary of the junior department.

"Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Church of the Brethren in charge of the Rev. George L. Detweiler and the Rev. George H. Bricker. Interment will be made in Green Hill Cemetery.

"Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 at the home and at the church Thursday from 2 o'clock until the hour of service."

"Miss Muth And Daniel Baker Wed Wednesday Evening.

"Wednesday evening at six o'clock in the parsonage of the Church of the Brethren, Miss Vermenia R. Muth of Waynesboro, Route 4, became the bride of Daniel B. Baker, 41 Clayton avenue. The ring ceremony was used by the officiating minister, Rev. Levi K. Ziegler. Only the members of the immediate family were in attendance.

"The bride ... is the daughter of Mrs. Harry King of Rouzerville ...

"Mr. Baker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Baker, Clayton avenue, and is an employee of the Landis Tool Company.

"Immediately following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Baker left on a wedding trip to Canada.

"Upon their return, they will be at home to their friends in their newly-furnished apartment on Clayton avenue."
