Adam and Bettie have been married 10 years, and have 4 children from the marriage, all living.[8] [The census records Adam's status as "M2" and Bettie's as "M1". This, along with the fact that they have only 4 children, but Adam's son Fred (age 21) is also in the household, confirms that Betty is Adam's second wife.]

Death : Adam Myers, son of William Myers and Ellen Harless, died in Victor, Fayette, WV on 16 May 1948. The death registration gives that he was aged 92 years 9 mths and 15 days, and had been born on 31 Aug 1856, but this is likely to be in error, since he is identified on census records as being born c.1863. The death was registered by George A. Myers, also of Victor.[5] presumably Adam's son.
