Melanie (Myers) Shive
Gus Myers was my grandfather on my father's side of the family. He was born in Wilkes County, NC at the home of his parents in Wilkes County. He became a well known farmer, merchant and preacher in his local community. I know he visited me at least once when i was a baby, as i have a photo of him holding me.
