Serving as pallbearers will be George C. Whisnant, Robert L. Kistler, Ralph F. Williams, Robert E. Hood, James M. Hood, and James F. Myers Jr.
Mrs. White was born July 5, 1872 in Anson County, the daughter of the late Ransom B. and Ella Kendall Myers. She had lived in Charlotte for the last 65 years and was an active member of Caldwell Memorial Presbyterian Church. Since the death of her husband she had spent much of her time with her daughter, Mrs. Ruth White Turner, of Arlington, Va.
Besides her daughter, Mrs. White is survived by two sons, Lieut. Allen M. White of the Charlotte Police Department and Ransom C. White of Charlotte; one sister, Mrs. E. L. Hewitt of Charlotte; one brother, James F. Myers of this city; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
