Johann Wilhelm Müller lived in Ober-Seemen with family Maria Bach and children Johann, Christina, JOHANN GEORG; he earned living as a farmer and tax collector - (from Tom Hench 'old' research) his occupation was listed as: Smith, Ackermann (Fieldman) Gemeinderechner (literally community-counter = census taker?).
Emigrated alone to America in late 1854 or early 1855. Then, possibly in Aug 1857, his family set sail from Bremen in northern Germany arriving Port of Baltimore on 11 Sept 1857 aboard Bark Blucher.
Settled in York County, PA - probably before 1860.
