Biography
The birth of Henry Naish 28 August 1812, son of Edmund and Ann Naish, was recorded at the Quaker monthly meeting in Bristol. [1][2]
He married Theodosia Ann Louis Thomson, daughter of Andrew Thomson and his wife, Theodosia Lewis in 1840, the marriage being registered at Bristol. [3]
Henry's second marriage was to Elizabeth Mary Pinsent Keddell, daughter of George Keddell and his wife, Ann Pinsent. The wedding took place at Clifton on 22 July 1858. [4] They lived in Clifton with Henry and Theodosia children of Henry's first marriage [5] and by 1871 had four children of their own. [6] More children followed and by 1881 they were living down in Bristol [7] but by 1891 they were back up in Clifton. [8] Henry died on 23 December that year. [9][10]
