caution - Virginia had two Rappahannock Counties that were not in the same location.
If she died in Rappahannock County, it would have been in the first one . . . from this page:
The first Virginia county named Rappahannock was formed in 1656 from Lancaster County and "became extinct in 1692 when it was divided into Essex and Richmond Counties." The second, Rappahannock County, Virginia, was created in 1833 from Culpeper County.
Hi! A Pedigree Resource File is not an adequate source to change a last name at birth (especially when the generated citation has "entry for Ann Namenotgiven /Butler/")
The second citation of a Pedigree Resource File shows her as Foster, but you need to include the source given in the Pedigree Resource File, not just the citation to the (not sufficient source) of the Pedigree Resource File.
both she and husband are shown b. in NC and yet they are shown m. in England in 1700 (which would have him being 10 y.o.).
I'd bet more research will clear this up. I'll see if I can find something to help.
