Henrietta "Ritta" Nance was born circa 1758, in Leaf River, Virginia, a daughter of William Howe Nance and Mary Vaughn. [1] On January 10, 1775, Ritta married John Chandler, who would serve in the American Revolutionary War. [2] Children of Henrietta and John are:
