Biography

When Mae Elizabeth Nance was born on 18 April 1917, in Cerro Gordo, Columbus, North Carolina, her father, Arthur Wesley Nance, was 21 and her mother, Elizabeth Campbell, was 15. She lived in Columbus, North Carolina in 1920 and Cerro Gordo Township, Columbus, North Carolina in 1950. She died on 1 January 1995, at the age of 77.
