Biography
When Redding NANCE was born on February 5, 1825, in Green, Kentucky, his father, James, was 35 and his mother, Hephzibah, was 35. He married Harriet Malinda BERRY on March 20, 1849, in Menard, Illinois. They had four children during their marriage. He died as a young father on February 7, 1854, in Menard, Illinois, at the age of 29, and was buried in Petersburg, Illinois.
