Biography

Thomas Clayton Nance, son of James Marshall Nance and Mary Ann Epps, was born on 13 May 1861 at Randolph County, North Carolina, USA.[1] He appeared on the census of 15 July 1870 in the home of his parents at Richardson County, Nebraska.[2]

He married Martha Jane Thompson on 1 October 1885 in Pope County, Arkansas.[1]

He married Rhoda Freeman 22 October 1896 in Pope County, Arkansas.[1]

He married Margaret Elizabeth "Lizzy" Freeman on 6 August 1913 in Conway County, Arkansas. [1]

Thomas died on 19 Aug. 1938 at Keefton, Muskogee County, Oklahoma and was buried at Garland Cemetery, Stigler, Haskell County, Oklahoma. His memorial has photos some biographical material and links to those of many family members. [1]
