BIRTH IN 1783 Mary Nathaniel was born on 12 December 1783, in Errol, Perthshire, Scotland.

PARENTS OF MARY NATHANIEL The parents of Mary Nathaniel were Thomas Nathaniel (a weaver who lived at Grange, Errol, Perthshire) and Katharine Fender.

There is a marriage between a Thomas Nathaniel and a Elspet Fender in Errol, Perthshire, on 4 August 1781, but I am unsure if these people are Mary Nathaniel's parents. Elspet is a very different name form Katharine. Hmm.

Elspet Fender died on either 30 June 1788 or 28 July 1788, in Errol, Perthshire. So, I think there were likely two men called Thomas Nathaniel living in Errol in the 1780s.

MARRIAGE IN 1802 Mary Nathaniel married Robert Millar on 14 November 1802 in Bendochy, Perthshire, Scotland.

N.B. The Fender surname seems to have been a fairly common name in the Errol area in the late 18th Century.
