Biography
Jean was born in 1875. She was the daughter of Michael Nedrow and Hannah M Raney.[1] Buried: Chapel of the Chimes Columbarium and Mausoleum, Garden of the Cross, Oakland, Alameda Couty, California She first married Abraham Edward "Ed" Head (1863-1932). Emma J Nedrow (age 17), daughter of Michael Nedrow, married A E Head (age 25) on 2 February 1893 in Shasta, California, United States.[2] He left her and their two small children alone to patrol Sierra Lumber timbeland for lumber thieves. During his absence she was menaced by indians; when he was unwilling to change occupation to not leave her unaccomanied, she divorced him (~1898). In the 1900 census Emma (age 25) was the wife of Abraham E Head in Shingletown, Shasta, California, United States.[3] Ed later married Evelyn Pierce and moved to the Chico area where he became city streets commissioner. Jean was a writer and author of The Broken Cupid.
Emma J Kutz, daughter of Rainey, died (age 86) on 10 August 1962 in Alameda, California, United States.[4]
