Elizabeth Neill (Neal) was born about 1772 in Burke, North Carolina to parents Capt. William Neill Jr. and Mary (Polly) Clinton. She married John Brown Plumlee Sr. about 1790 in Burke, North Carolina. Children: Ben Alvin, Thompson, William, Archibald, John Brown, Mary Anne (Potter), Denton, Abraham, Clinton, Stephen, Kendall Dock, Sarah (Williamson), Isaac, Abigail. She died about 1820 in Jackson, Madison, Tennessee.
