Biography
Lawrence County Probate Court February 14th 1865, In the matter of the Estate of Mary Burke deceased, Appointment of Administrator, On motion the Court appoint Samuel Burke Administrator of the estate of Mary Burke Late of Lawrence County deceased, and he is ordered to give bond in the sum of five hundred dollars, conditioned according to law, and thereupon came the said Samuel Burke and accepted said appointment and gave bond in accordance with said order, with Walter Neal and James Marcum as surities, which bond the Court approves, Walter Neal, William Laysie, and John Dawbs are appointed appraisers.
