John Joseph Neal was born on April 27, 1889 in Bingara, Colony of New South Wales, son of James Neal (1844–1919) and Louisa Ireland (1859–1936).[1]
John (24) married Ruby Maud Dump Johnson (22) (born in 1891 in Inverell, New South Wales) on April 8, 1914 in Tingha, New South Wales. Their children were:
- Marjorie May Neal (1914–1966)
- Colin Darcy Neal (1917–1918)
John died on October 30, 1976 in Tingha, New South Wales, Australia, aged 87.[2]
