Biography

Samuel Neal was born 14 Jun 1661, according to Dover, New Hampshire "old records," the son of Walter Neal and Mary Ayers ^[1] He married Jane Foss ca 1680 (based on birthdate of first child), possibly in Greenland, New Hampshire^[2]

In his father Walter's will, Walter writes, ".in consideration of the natural affections and love which I have and do bear unto my well beloved grandchildren, the children of my son Samuel Neal of Greenland aforesaid late deceased," therefore Samuel died bef 1702 (the date of the will)^[3]
