I noticed you uploaded or plan to upload a GEDCOM. Our process here is a little different than what you might find on other sites because of our goal of growing one worldwide tree with a single profile for each individual. Here's two links : 1) Before Importing a gedcom

TIP: if your ancestor was born over two hundred years ago, there's a very good chance she/he already has a profile on wikitree. Before creating a new profile, use the "search function" up on top to see if your ancestor is already here. Maggie

Hi,

I've been researching my family history in my spare time since 2013 and it has become a strong interest of mine.

I saw the Global Family Reunion mentioned on TV this morning, and this is how I first heard about WikiTree.

I love the idea of everyone working together on a shared global tree. Often genealogical research is a very private solo endeavor, which can feel quite isolating, so the commitment to collaboration is very appealing.

I have read and agree with WikiTree's mission. I volunteer to become a full member and will abide by the Wiki Genealogist Honor Code.
