Biography

Jane Nesbitt was the daughter of James and Jane (Williams) Nesbitt. She was born April 20, 1805, in Plymouth, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. [1]

She married William Ransom, son of George Palmer Ransom and Elizabeth (Lamoreux) Ransom on November 13, 1823. [2]

Their children are said to include:

  • Livia
  • Mary (married Fletcher Lamoreaux
  • Ellen
  • Phoebe [3]

She died May 15, 1842 and was buried in Shupps Cemetery in Plymouth, Pennsylvania. [4]
