Born: c. 1435, 28 years old in 1463 when her father died.

Husband: Richard Strangeways, Knt.^[1]

• Sir James Strangeways (b c1455), married (1) Alice le Scrope, daughter of Sir Thomas le Scrope and Elizabeth Greystoke, on 4 September 1472 and (2) Margaret after 4 November 1521.^[2]

Research Notes

Estimated Date: William Neville married Joan "before 28 April 1422", when Joan was 16.^[1] Assuming the marriage was not consummated until she was 21 and that Elizabeth was the 2nd of three daughters (Joan, Elizabeth, Alice), and allowing 2 years between siblings, puts Joan b 1428, Elizabeth 1430, and Alice 1432. Birth date of 1435 would be reasonable also (date added when profile was created).
