George Neville, Knt., Lord Bergavenny, was the second but first surviving son of Edward Neville, Knt., by his first marriage to Elizabeth Beauchamp.[1][2][3] George was born at Raby Castle, Durham and baptized at Staindrop, Durham about 1440 (aged 36 and more in 1476).[1][2]
