Biography

John Nevill (Nevell) is the son and heir of William Nevill of Liversedge, co. York (d. c. 1368).^[1] His mother might be Elizabeth, dau. of Sir John Harrington of Farlton & Katherine, dau. of Sir Robert Sherburn.^[2]

Dugdale (1899), simply states that his maternal grandfather was Sir John Harrington but doesn't identify his parents or family branch.^[3]
