She was Christened on 30 August 1741 at Saint Andrew's, Penrith, Cumberland[1].
At the age of about 26 she married William Varty on 20 July 1767 at Saint Andrew's, in Penrith, Cumberland[2].
They had went on to have at least nine children, some of whom died young.
Some time after 1775 Ann and her husband moved their family to the City of London where they lived in Bishopsgate Street. Her husband William was a Linen Draper. He died suddenly in April 1814 and was buried in Penrith, Cumberland.
She passed away on 23 September 1828 at the age of 88[3].

On the 23d inst., at Ward's-house, Hackney, Ann, relict of the late Mr. William Varty, of Penrith, aged 88.[4]
Ann was buried on 29 September 1828 at St. John at Hackney Churchyard, Hackney, London Borough of Hackney, Greater London, England [5][6].
