Samuel Newman was born on May 17, 1764 in Newberry County, Province of South Carolina, son of Samuel Newman (~1735–1795) and Eve Castleberry (~1745–>1788).[1]
Samuel (30) married Mary Ann Lovett (16) (born about 1778 in Warren County, Georgia, United States; daughter of Richard Lovett and Mary (Freeman) Lovett) on March 18, 1795 in Warren County, Georgia. Their children were:
Samuel (54) married Priscilla McCarty (19) (born on April 23, 1799 in Georgia) on January 4, 1819 in Warren County, Georgia.[2] [3] Their children were:
Samuel died about 1832 in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, United States, aged about 67. He was buried in Douglas Cemetery, Bastrop, Morehouse Parish, Louisiana.[1]
