Biography

Louis Alfred Newman was born to Rovert Newman .

He married Deborah Solomon in 1910.^[1]

Together they became the parents of Edgar Newman, Jessel Mewman, Peibji Newman, Maurice L. Newman, Faye Esther (Newman Norman, and David Newman.

He supported his family as a tailor. ^[2]

Louis died on Oct. 13, 1935 and was buried at Rookwood Necropolis in Sydney, New South Wales. ^[3]

The death of Mr. Louis Alfred Newman, of 188. Palmer Street, City and Junee, occurred at his residence on the 13th, inst. He was the husband of Deborah and father of Edgar, Maurice, Jessel, Peibji, Esther and David. At the interment Rabbi B. Lenzer officiated. Minyan will toe held at the residence on Sunday next, at 7.30. p.m.
