He died on September 05, 1997 in Hamilton, Wentworth, Ontario, Canada
Notes
Written by Jean Newman Thomson:
My Father Raymond E Newman told me that he actually met his grandfather when he was a soldier in England during WW 2. He said he visited him during a leave and that he found him up on the roof of his shed repairing the roof. He said he got word of his grandfather's death but was not allowed leave as D day was about to happen and the War office had other plans for Ray. I would put Frederick's death in June of 1946.
