An inventory of the estate of Mr. Ezekiel Newton, late of Milford, was taken 22 Oct 1734. by Samuel Gunn, Andrew Sanford and John Fowler. The inventory consisted of clothing, a bed, a few animals, a few tools, 2 books (one "ye felicity of man"). John Newton Esqr. swore to the inventory in court. There was no real estate. The probate documents mention no heirs or administrator.[1] The inventory indicates an unmarried man living in the household of someone else.
