Biography

Dana, the son of Luther Newton and Miriam Newton, was born in 1795 in Marlborough, New Hampshire. [1]

He married first Nancy Moffett of Shefford, Canada on Sept. 24, 1817. He married second Martha Reed of Rockingham, Vt. on Jan. 1, 1831. He passed away Sept. 26, 1875 in Freeport, Illinois. [2]
