I'm wondering if anyone has found verification of who her parents are. I thought they were George Newton (b.1742, New Hanover, NC ; d 1786 Duplin Co. NC; and Nancy Ann Moore d 1830, but I can't confirm that their daughter Susannah or Susan did marry Jacob Grindstaff.
