Biography
Jane was baptised on 26 March 1830 in Cirencester by parents Robert and Martha. Her father was a labourer. Her birth date was noted. [1]
On 8 June 1857 Jane Nicholls and James Eley married in Marylebone. James was a Porter, his father James was a Gardener. Jane's father Robert was a Gardener. Frederick Nichola and Roseiner (sic) Nicholls were witnesses. [2]
In 1871 James and Jane were living in Paddington with 4 daughters. James was a Carman. [3]
