Sarah Nichols, daughter of Francis Nichols and Frances Wimarke, was baptized 12 November 1615 at Sedgeberrow, Worcestershire, England.[1]
Sarah and her husband Richard Mills, with their son Samuel, were among the founding settlers of Stratford, Connecticut, in 1639 and had one of the seventeen original lots. Richard sold his lot to Joseph Hawley by 1652 and reputedly moved to Westchester, New York.[2] Whether Sarah was with him is unknown.
