Her birth is recorded as December 1, 1650 in Stratford. The original record is in Stratford Land Records, Volume I, page 43. The Stratford Historical Society index to these records incorrectly list the birth date of Sarah and Ann Nichols as December 1, 1650. The actual transcribed records show that Sarah was born in 1650 and her sister Ann was born March 1, 1651. Page 6.
