Thomas Nichols of Amesbury, b. 1670 ; m. 1st, Jane Jameson, b. Feb. 23, 1673-4, dau. of John and Esther (Martin) Jameson. (p. 216); 2d, pub. April 30, 1721, to Judith Hoage of Newbury. Member of the Society of Friends; Will dated Nov. 16; proved Dec. 7, 1724. Children: David, b. Oct. 26, 1709; m. 1730, Hannah Gaskill; rem. to Salem; lost at sea, 1756. [1] [2]

Samuel Gaskill, son of Samuel and Provided (Southwicke) Gaskill, was born in Salem 23 d: 11 mo: 1663; d. September 1, 1725; m. Bethiah, dau. of Thomas Jr. and Hannah Gardner. Children: Hannah married David Nichols. (p. 1950)

David Nichols, son of Thomas and Jane (Jameson) Nichols, b. October 26, 1709; and was lost at sea 1756: m. in 1730 Hannah Gaskill. (p. 1949)
