Roger, eldest child of Roger and Hannah (Kimball) Eastman, b. April 12, 1711 in Amesbury, and settled in that town. When the province line was established in 1741, his farm was proven to be in Newton, NH. His will was made March 24, 1771 and allowed September 19 1791. His wife's name was Rachel.
Their children were: Thomas, Stephen, Ichabod, Samuel, Isaac, Nicholas, Hannah, Judith, and Jennie. (p. 192-3) [5]
