Roland David Nichols, known as Rod Nichols, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 after a long battle with cancer at his home in Ninnekah, Oklahoma.
He was the son of Pat H. Nichols and Cynthia N. Ryans and was born in 1949 in Chickasha.
He worked as a mechanic all his life. Most of his life he lived in California.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Nichols, his children, David Nichols of Arkansas; Diane Richards of Arkansas; Nicole Nichols of California; and Nikita Nichols of Chickasha, OK; several grandchildren; sister Pat Fourniea of Ninnekah, OK; brother Rodger Nichols of New Hampshire; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in the Laverty Cemetery under the direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Home of Lawton, OK.
