Biography
Per 2 censuses, Neal was born in 1822 in Tennessee.
He lived in Powell Township, Greene, Arkansas in 1850 working as a farmer. In 1870, he lived in Bolivar Township, Poinsett, Arkansas working as a tanner. By the 1880 census, his wife Sarah has died but his daughter Malinda is still home taking care of him while he farms. His parents were born in Virginia.
