Samuel Nicholson was enumerated as son at Lower Hiwassee, Towns County, Georgia for the United States Census, 1880. He was noted as works on farm, born 1867 in Georgia and single. Also included in the household are self Logan Nicholson, wife Mary Nicholson, son James Nicholson, daughter Sarah Nicholson, son John Nicholson, son Mercer Nicholson, daughter Martha Nicholson, son L Nicholson, son William Nicholson, son Virgil Nicholson and mother-in-law Elizabeth Woodring.[1]

Samuel Nicholson wed Lula Hooper December 25, 1898 in Towns County, Georgia.[2]

Samuel Nicholson was enumerated as head of the household at Lower Hiwassee, Towns County, Georgia for the April 26, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1867 in Georgia and had been married eleven years. He was a farmer on a general farm and an owner as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Lula Nicholson, daughter Stella Nicholson, daughter Georgia Nicholson and son Glenn Nicholson.[3]
