Not to be confused with a different Benjamin Nicholson, the husband of Elizabeth Shakleford, who was the son of William Nicholson and his wife, Mary. Both men had daughters named Mary Ann.

This profile seems to contain the information for two different Benjamins. One, the husband of Millicent Sandy, was the son of John Nicholson and Ann Checkland. The other, the husband of Elizabeth Shakleford, was the son of William Nicholson and his wife, Mary. I just added several children to him that belong to the wife Elizabeth before I realized. Elizabeth and all of her children may need to be detached.
Yeah, I screwed the Nicholson's all up. I've even been told that Edward Mooney of Hopkins/Webster County, Kentucky did not marry Mary Nicholson, that she ended up in Johnson County, Indiana married to an Edmund Mooney...very confusing. That leaves Edward Mooney of Hopkins, Kentucly married to a Mary Unknown, I guess? I cannot really prove that Edward of Hopkins, Kentucky did not marry Mary Nicholson of Woodford County, Kentucky either though. Any suggestions?
