Sadly, very little documentation has been found for Susannah. Apparently a " Moss-Edwards Bible" exists out there which documents her marriage to Benjamin Lewis.Richard Hollenbeck 10:54, 27 October 2018 (UTC)

Birth
Moss-Edwards Bible gives her date of death as May 31, 1829 age 84 which translates to a birth year of about 1745. [1]

↑ Barbara Jane Lewis (Green) writes: "Susannah Lewis' death is documented in the Moss Family Bible as 31 May 1829 (a copy which I have). She was my 4th great grandmother and was married to Benjamin Lewis." Thank you very much Barbara!

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Susannah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Susannah:
On the bottom of the page. You will see a copy of the Moses-Edwards bible which states : "Susannah Lewis mother of Mary Edwards departed this life the 31st day 1829 aged 84 years ----- ------>"
If Susannah was 84 on May 31 1829 that would make her birth date 1745.. It would make her the daughter of John's first wife , Mary (Lewis) Nickells and not Barbara McComb. The list of children on findagrave.com is clearly different
showing children as :
John Nickell 1738–1807
Thomas Nickell 1740–1807 ** there is an eight year gap between children here. Susannah most likely here.
Elizabeth Nickell 1748–1808
Joseph Nickell 1750–1829
Isaac Lewis Nickell 1751–1839
Susannah Nickell 1756–1837 **** clearly she does not belong here if the bible record is correct
Robert Nickell 1757–1838
Andrew Nickell 1759–1838
The biographcal sketch says 6 sons served in the Revolutionary War I found information on 4 of them in the Sons of American Revolution database under the name Nickolas/Nickols/Nickell but nothing in the Daughters of the American Revolution under any of these spellings.
There are certainly a lot of questions about John/Mary?/Barbara? as parents....needs more research.
Comments and suggested sources more than welcome.

Maybe someone else has had this discussion but I didn't see it amongst the others nor do I see how it wouldn't have come up as a possible match considering the creation dates on both profiles; unless data was recently changed. I do recognize the one spouse difference but I think there are enough of us "cousins" to talk it out and figure who is whom because I can't find any documents of twins born to these parents that were given the exact names and who each married the same man...Thanks for any help. Cheers!
Nickell-178 and Nickell-1 appear to represent the same person because: Maybe someone else has had this discussion but I didn't see it amongst the others nor do I see how it wouldn't have come up as a possible match considering the creation dates on both profiles; unless data was recently changed. All the children were added later, so I'm not certain they are with the right parents, or if Susannah's birthdate is even correct. I haven't thoroughly investigated her either.
The birth date of this Susannah is very similar to the birth dates of her parents. Either the date is wrong or this Susannah does not belong in this family. Nickell-1 is currently being considered in a merge. Should this Susannah belong to that conversation (with her birth date corrected) or should she be removed from this family?
