Elizabeth Nickell, the daughter of Joseph Nickell (1790-1845) and Sarah (Stewart) Nickell (1781-1820) married Jeremiah Elam (1821-1881 and had the following children:
Nancy Elizabeth Elam (1832 - 1908); Shelby C Elam (1835 - 1902); Richard Taylor Elam (1848 - 1907); Leander Cox Elam (1852 - 1938)
Elizabeth was born about 1811. Elizabeth Nickell passed away about 1852.
