According to the 1900 United States Census, William is a widow and has one grown daughter living with him. The census states that he is now sixty-nine years of age and immigrated to the United States in the year 1893. His residence remains in Andover, Essex, Massachusetts. [9]
William Padman Nickerson, he passed away on February 19, 1910, in Boston, Massachusetts. According to William's Death Certificate, the place of Burial is Tewksbury Cemetery, which is where I located his grave. The form does not contain his birth date, which is normally found on this form. The form does state he is a widow, and his occupation was a Stevedore. His father was William Nickerson born in Barrington, Nova Scotia. His mother's maiden name was Abbie Crowell, who was also born in Barrington, Nova Scotia. The cause of death was Cerebral Hemorrhage with contributory Modalities: Arteric-Sclcrosis, Chronic Myocarditis, Chronic Interstitial Nephritis.[10]
