Nathaniel was born about 1718. He is the son of Nathaniel Nickerson and Katherine Stuart.

Inscription : Memento Mortis In Memory of Mr. Nathaniel Nickerson who died Dec'r 6th 1793 In his 75th Year.

A husband kind and good a parent dear; To all obliging and to all sincere; True to his God, the orphans friend & guide He liv'd beloved and lamented di'd.

He married about Jun 1742 (Int 21 Jun 1742) possibly in Chatham Ruth Young daughter of John and Dinah (Harding widow Baker) Young and had 8 children
