Promoted Lt 1837 and became 2nd Aide-de-Camp to Sir Jasper Nicolls in 1840. Returned to England in 1847 after an absence of 19 years in India and Australia and was killed before Sebastopol 7.8.1855. d. Dec 1885 Had issue: 1. Anne S.
