In 1734 according to an electoral register Peter Nightingale of Lea was freehold owner of land in Lea, Derbyshire, England.[4]
A licence was granted at Duffield, Derbyshire, on 11 July 1743 for Peter Nightingale, lead merchant of Ashover, widower aged 36, to marry Elizabeth Lowe of Wirksworth, spinster aged 40.[5]
In 1750 Peter Nightingale of Lea, lead merchant, and Elizabeth his wife née Lowe entered into a lease agreement with Francis Hurt of Wirksworth, lead merchant, for land in Wirksworth, Derbyshire.[6]
Mr Peter Nightingale of the parish of Ashover widower married Mrs Elizabeth Dodd widow on 9 August 1757 in South Wingfield, Derbyshire, England.[7]
Mr Peter Nightingale of Lea was buried on 5 February 1763 in Ashover, Derbyshire.[8]
