Joane Nightingale married Charles Newcomen in 1568 in Brentwood, Essex, England. She died in 1637 in Saltfleetby, Lincoln, Devonshire, England. They had a daughter Frances Stewart Newcomen (1575-1690), 2 sons: Sir Robert Newcomen, 1st baronet, and Rev. Elias Newcomen. Sir Robert Newcomen, became a knight 1605, June 9. ROBERT NEWCOMEN[4]1st baronet of Newcomen, married Catherine Molyneux, daughter of Sir Thomas Molyneux and mother Catherine Salaboethe before 1600. He secondly married Elizabeth Wentworth, daughter of John Wentworth after 1605. He died on 28 Sep 1629. He lived in Mosstown, County Longford, Ireland.[5]
