Biography

Mary Ann Niland was probably born in Dublin, Ireland on 19 June 1839. She is the daughter of Thomas Niland and Mary Pendergast ^[1]. She passed away in 1883. ^[2]

Mary Niland migrated from Ireland to Ausralia.

Mary arrived in Australia with her parents aboard the "Joseph Cunard" on 28 November 1841. ^[1]

James Holmes married Mary Ann Niland in Grafton, New South Wales during 1856. ^[3]

Mary Ann died at First Falls, Clarence River on 1 August 1883, aged 44. ^{[4] [5]}
