Biography
Robert Nisbet was a miner in Scotland, was baptized 28 Aug 1814 at Old Monkland[1]. He was the son of William Nisbet and Catherine Paterson. He passed away 28 May 1872. [2]
He was married first at Old Monkland 4 Aug 1833 to Rachel Murrie/Murray [3]
He remarried at Bothwell 3 Apr 1853 to Janet Simpson [4] She remarried to Donaldson McFarlane
