Birth: 1787, Union County, South Carolina, USA

Death: Dec. 25, 1857, Rockdale, Randolph County, Alabama, USA

Jeremiah Nix father was Joseph W Nix of Georgia.

Jeremiah Nix lived in Walton Co and Elbert Co Georgia before moving to Randolph Co Alabama around 1848.

His oldest son Harrison Nix stayed and raised his family in Gwinnett, Ga brother to Austin B Nix.

You can find Frances Lousia Webb daughter of Austin Webb and Alsey Waters Pension App online. It will give proof that Austin B Nix was their son.

Jeremiah and Francis (Fanny) Louisa Webb Nix married in Elbert Co Ga October 25,1810. Fanny was born 1795 in Wilkes Co, GA.

Military Service

Jeremiah Nix faught in the War of 1812 in Booths Ga Mil. Some of Jeremiah Nix brothers faught in the same war.
