Wreford Gordon Nix is born on September 26, 1948 in Ontario, Canada. His parents are Wilbert Glen Nix (1925-1994) and Bertha Lenore Agar (1925-?). His parents lived on a farm on the 7th line of Toronto Gore Township in Peel County.
Wreford marries Beverly Ann Monkman (1949-?) on October 3, 1970.
Wreford dies on June 20, 2013 in Barrie, Ontario and is buried in the Bond Head Emmanuel Episcopal cemetery in Bond Head.
